HousePaws Mobile Vet Melbourne offers personalised and convenient in home consultations. We are based out of Glen Iris and service the surrounding suburbs in the Boroondara, Glen Eira and Stonnington city councils. Dr Judi offers a range of in-home services tailored to each of her patient's and client's needs, and is passionate about providing high quality veterinary care in a stress free environment. Dr Judi also collaborates with local veterinary clinics for any services which can not be performed during a home visit, such as surgeries, dentals, or sedated procedures. Our clients enjoy house calls for a number of reasons, whether it's because their pet gets anxious in clinic, have multiple pets, they don't drive, they are a busy parent, or they enjoy seeing the same vet at every visit who knows their pet's history inside out. PHYSICAL EXAMINATIONS AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS
Regular health checks for pets are essential for maintaining their well-being and ensuring a happy, healthy life. Just like humans, pets benefit from preventive healthcare, which allows veterinarians to detect and address any potential issues early on. Our health check-ups not only monitor your pet's health through a thorough physical examination, but also provide opportunities to address nutritional needs, or potential behavioral concerns.
SICK ANIMAL CONSULTATIONS
While we are not an emergency service, we do our best to schedule urgent sick visits by appoinment. We can offer sick animal visit, lump checks, skin and ear cytology, eye exams, sample collection for urine and blood testing (behaviour permitting). We will assess your pet and work with you to establish a plan to help your furry friend feel better quickly.
VACCINATIONS AND PARASITE PREVENTION
We'll advise you on the most appropriate vaccinations and parasite prevention for your pet. Kittens and puppies generally require a series of vaccinations starting at around 6 to 8 weeks of age, and all pets will require booster vaccinations throughout their lifetime to help them stay healthy. We can also advise you on appropriate parasite prevention depending on your pet's lifestyle. Please call us for more information.
BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS
We offer a personalised approach to understanding and addressing your pet's behavioral needs. Our consultations provide expert guidance and tailored solutions for a variety of behavioral concerns. PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION RENEWALS
For our regular patients who require ongoing medications we offer a range of medications for renewal and prescription services.
SURGERY, DENTISTRY AND DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING
Dr Judi has many years of experience in cat and dog dentistry as well as soft tissue surgery. For any necessary procedures, xrays or ultrasounds, Dr Judi collaborates closely with the team at Progressive Vet Care in Malvern East and Glen Iris. This allows for continuity of care for her patients as well as always being able to offer gold standard care.
With our in-home service, you can say goodbye to your cherished pet in the comfort and familiarity of your own home, surrounded by love and warmth. We provide a compassionate and dignified farewell. We understand the deep bond between you and your pet and strive to honor that bond with gentle, personalized care. We ensure a peaceful transition with respect and tenderness.
We will guide you through every step of the end of life process, offering support and understanding during this emotional time. We endeavour to provide your aftercare preferences with the utmost care and respect. We offer in home euthanasia for cats, dogs, rabbits, and pocket pets.
